A safe and healthy vocational training environment in a horticultural setting

Earth Gardens Charitable Trust Mission

To provide a flexible, supportive, and therapeutic working environment for people living with mental illness, addiction, disability or challenges. To support and empower these Tangata Whaiora to reach their potential and live their best life.

Tangata Whaiora are people seeking health and wellbeing.

How we achieve this

Earth Gardens Charitable Trust provide a safe and healthy vocational training environment in a horticultural setting with individually tailored programmes for each of our Tangata Whaiora.

By participating in our programmes Tangata Whaiora will have the opportunity to build self-esteem, increase self-confidence,  develop motivation, and achieve work related goals.

Earth Gardens also provides the opportunity to transition into further education, participate in the community, carry out voluntary work experience, refresh old skills and develop new ones plus network with supportive employment agencies.

Referrals are welcomed from MSD, ACC and Oranga Tamariki.

Self-referrals are also welcome - just contact us to make a time to visit.
