MENZSHED - Mohua

The MenzShed movement was primarily established to provide older men with a communal workshop and excuse to meet on a regular basis to share and develop handicraft skills, usually with wood and metal. Though important as the enjoyment of working together is, it also offers the opportunity to share time together, enjoying the cheapest and possibly best coffee in town, while spinning tall tales and discussing potential projects. They are convinced this helps our mental health!

MenzShed members typically work on personal projects using communal facilities, assisting each other; as well as completing projects for other organisations within Golden Bay.
