Socially Speaking help children, teens and young adults to develop strengths/interests whilst enhancing social connections, sensory, self-regulation and executive functioning skills.

Who They Help:

Speaking Socially specialise working with young people who have social, sensory and communication differences including Autism, Dyspraxia, ADHD, Giftedness, Anxiety and Sensory

They Help With The Following:

  • Developing and incorporating strengths and interests into everyday life
  • Enhancing well-being
  • Forming and maintaining positive social connections
  • Building self awareness  and confidence
  • Working co-operatively with others
  • Being able to manage complex emotions
  • Building emotional intelligence
  • Anxiety and Stress Management
  • Learning to better understand and manage sensory differences (e.g. managing over and under sensitivities to noise, light, texture, taste, movement etc)
  • Developing independent life skills
  • Providing personalised strategies to manage tasks and achieve personal goals
  • Executive Functioning e.g. time management, organisation skills, working memory and prioritisation/completion of tasks
  • Sessions are provided to children who require extra support in speech sound disorders
  • Assessment for speech and language delays/disorders are available for children from 2 years old
  • Developing gross and fine motor skills including handwriting
  • Assessments are available for Dyspraxia for children from 7 years and over.
