Marlborough Community Vehicle Trust

The Marlborough Community Vehicle Trust was formed in 2016 as a charitable trust with the initial aim of supporting residents in Picton and the Marlborough Sounds area to attend medical appointments in Blenheim and Nelson.

The service quickly expanded from Picton and the Sounds to include wider Marlborough communities.
The Trust has two vehicles located in Picton and two in Blenheim.

The Trust is 100% volunteer-driven and since inception nearly 2,000 residents have taken advantage of the service.

The Marlborough Community Vehicle Trust (MCVT) is a charitable trust operated 100% by volunteers.

Their mission is to provide safe, reliable, and affordable transportation services for people in Marlborough who need to travel to medical appointments within the Nelson Marlborough region. As a registered charitable organisation, they strive to improve the quality of life for Marlburians.

You can expect professionalism and care from each of our trained and vetted volunteer drivers.

Travel with them is available to anyone in Marlborough via a $20 lifetime membership fee.
