Learn Active is a registered charity that provides outdoor education opportunities to people with intellectual disabilities, 15 years old and above.
The Active Discoveries programme runs weekly during term time.
Students are placed into a group and attend 1 day per week (they have groups Monday to Friday).
Over the course of the 10 week term students focus on a series of outdoor activities associated with one of the themes of water, bush, rope and hike.
Programme days are 9am to 3.30pm
The Active Holidays programmes run during each term break. Each day has a different activity focus and students are welcome to attend for some or all of the days on offer. Programme days are 9am to 3.30pm.
Active Learn also offer specialised progressive programmes during the holidays, between 2 and 4 days in duration such as bodyboarding, skiing and mountain biking.
