All their volunteers have been trained in consumer rights, employment rights, vehicle disputes, relationship property rights and access to children, and many other areas, and can work alongside you to resolve a problem.
In addition, we make appointments for and run Free Legal Advice Clinics. These are by phone consultation or by face to face appointments. Bookings are essential.
Phone consultations take place every second Tuesday evening.
They also offer, in collaboration with The Free Legal Clinics Project and Hihiaua Cultural Centre, face to face appointments every second Thursday evening.
These lawyers can give guidance but cannot act for you.
Another clinic they can offer is an Employment clinic which is held on the first Wednesday of each month. Bookings can be made for a 30-minute appointment between 12pm - 2pm. Bookings with this Advocate are essential.
They also have an advocacy team who can assist people to ensure that they are receiving their correct entitlements from Work and Income. Their advocacy team holds a MSD clinic every Wednesday from 9:30am - 12:00pm. Bookings are essential.
