Department of Conservation - Walking and Tramping

A subset of the Department of Conservation Website that allows you to look up walks and tramps in your area, and separate them by difficulty. The Easiest Difficulty has two options, on of which is wheelchair, buggy and stroller friendly, marked by a handicap sign.

There are 11 of these walks on the West Coast:

• Punakaiki Pancake Rocks and Blowholes Walk (Paparoa National Park)
• Reefton Short Walks (Victoria Forest Parks)
• Reefton Walking tracks (Victoria Forest Parks)
• Waitangitāhuna Wetland Walk (Westland Tai Poutini National Park)
• Walks north of Haast Township (Haast) (Kahikatea Swamp Forest Walk not accessible for wheelchairs)
