My Home Chef is an inclusive cooking school that believes everyone deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive in the kitchen.
They specialise in one-on-one cooking lessons tailored for disabled and special needs individuals aged 12 and up, creating a safe, supportive, and enriching environment where students can gain essential life skills, confidence, and independence. They have a thoughtfully designed, custom-built kitchen that accommodates a variety of needs:
Led by qualified, compassionate chefs, the lessons focus on building practical cooking skills, food safety, and kitchen hygiene while promoting creativity, self-expression, and a love of food.
Whether the goal is a pathway to employment, greater independence at home, or simply the joy of learning something new, My Home Chef is here to help every student succeed.
In peaceful, low-stress environments, they take a collaborative, student centered approach, ensuring each person feels empowered, respected, and encouraged—every step of the way.
The cost includes all the ingredients, recipes, one and half to two hours class and equipment.
The students take all the food they make home. They are currently in the process of building a new kitchen that will be also wheelchair accessible to give more students this great opportunity!
